In VCAL and Stepping Stones we can help you create a personalised learning experience. If you have a passion we can create learning activities which will give you credit towards a related certificate. Classes are run by fully qualified and registered teachers.
Areas of study are literacy (reading and writing), numeracy (working with numbers), work related skills (getting ready for work), personal development (helping the community), and industry specific skills (nationally recognised training which is also credit towards a TAFE course).
Full or part time enrolment is available. Joint enrolment with Daylesford Secondary College is also available. Students may be eligible for Centrelink payments. Days of attendance by negotiation.
For more informations and to arrange an interview contact the VCAL
coordinator at the Centre or email daylesford@ourneighbourhood.org.au
The DNC VCAL program is designed to engage those students who are unable to complete Year 11 or 12 in a mainstream school setting. It aims to support young people to complete Year 12 or equivalent and to make a successful transition from the program into further education, training or employment. VCAL is suitable for people aged 16 years or older.
This program is for people aged 12 to 15 years who might be engaged in home-schooling, part-time schooling or some other educational arrangement. Individual educational programs will be designed with the aim of supporting the student to meet the best possible educational outcome.
