Summer Pruning

Learn to summer prune fruit trees, berries and vines. This introductory workshop will cover theory and practical pruning and includes an informative demonstration. Bring your lunch, tools and gloves and wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing.

Cupcake Heaven!

You don't need to spend a fortune to serve beautifully decorated cupcakes. Decorating cupcakes is a fun and easy activity for the whole family. Come along to this fun demonstration and learn the tricks involved in creating a beautifully decorated cupcake. Try your hand at decorating using flowers and other delicious embellishments including using text such as ‘Happy Birthday!' This is a great opportunity to decorate some festive cupcakes for Christmas. Learn this lovely art ready for presenting at your next special occasion or even just for fun. Children accompanied by an adult welcome.

Community Vegetable & Herb Garden Group

Explore food gardens including propagation, companion planting, worm farming and more in this friendly group for people of all ages and levels of gardening experience. Bring along some lunch and work as hard or as little as you please. The garden around the Centre is developing into a lovely area to sit, have lunch or get your hands dirty working the soil. Water tanks are full, compost is breaking down and the worms are hungry. So come along and join in - no need to register, see you there.
