A class for beginners and those with some experience. Learn the techniques of oil and acrylic painting and be supported to explore a range of approaches and ideas including different techniques, colour mixing and sketching. Materials list available on enrolment.

Objects around the home can make beautiful containers for flowers that are picked and then arranged according to colour and form. You'll be surprised at what you can come up with even from a simple garden. Join Vivienne as she uses items and blooms at hand to brighten up your home bringing softness and beauty to every room.
Shaping stone is easier than you might think. You can create a beautiful bird bath in this 2 day weekend workshop. Relief carving is cutting decorative images into a stone surface using hammer and chisel. A 100mm (4 inch) angle
grinder is used for bowl cutting. Simple designs -Celtic knots, basic leaf and flower shapes - will be available or bring along your own. A selection of
basalt rocks will be provided but feel free to bring your own piece of stone. Contact the Centre for details regarding equipment and tools.
