Coffee and Cake - and Kids!

 

It's a whole new ball-game in this amazing and challenging role. New and newish parents can meet others, hear lots of stimulating ideas, share support, laughs - and coffee 'n' cake! Childcare professional, July Meyer will cover issues around sleep, food, playing and entertaining your baby, getting routines happening and more.

Starting BIG School

Becoming a preppy is a big step for little feet. You can help your child make this crucial transition happily and confidently with some extra tips from kinder teacher and childcare professional, Chris Chatham of Creswick Children's Services.

What's Happening in the Natural Playscape this term?
Book in for one of our special Friday workshops with artists Rebecca Russell and Ken Evans and join in gatherings especially for parents and pre-school children to play and create together. All other Friday's are for free play adventures in our Natural Playscape Garden and you're all invited to enjoy the space.

Fairy Huts and Fossicking Walk Through the Le Gerche Forest
Meet at the Le Gerche track where we will stroll through the forest collecting natural materials for our Playscape and build fairy huts along the way. Everyone's welcome including parents, grandparents, and friends young and old. Dress for a big walk. Bring water and snacks. Backpacks are recommended for carrying very little people.

Builder Boards Cubby - Build, create, play
Come and put together our very own builder boards cubby. Feel like real builders as we create our own cubby, pathways, bridges and tunnels. Bring your own construction hats and let the stories begin!
Friday 19 October (1 Session) 10am - 12pm - 5.00 per family

Sandpit Village
Sand, blocks, sticks, spades, rocks and loads of interesting natural materials are the foundations for a village that we will create together in our massive sandpit. Make interesting dwellings with fences, gates, roads and pathways all connecting our village together.
Friday 16 November (1 Session) 10am - 12pm - $5.00 per family

Things for the Trees - Decorations with a difference
Find beautiful shapes in wood, bark and other natural materials to make into decorations to hang up in the trees in our Playscape. Hammer and tie bits together to join the moon in the trees for Christmas decorations with a difference.
Friday 7 December (1 Session) 10am - 12pm - $5.00 per family


 

Homework Group

Young people can come along and get support with their homework, projects, research and organisational skills. There is no charge to attend Homework Group but places are limited and registration is essential.

Art & Crafty Kids

Kids can sew, sculpt, draw and more to create their very own masterpieces. Art & Crafty Kids have fun and get messy whilst exploring creativity and the artist within us all. Bring along an art smock or painting shirt, a snack and drink, all other materials are provided.

Preschool Class Mondays 9.30 - 10.30am during school terms
Primary Class Mondays 4 - 5pm during school terms
$10 per session + a discount is available for term payments

Creswick Youth Group

Young people 10 - 16 years are invited to come and hang out and create their own space to explore Ideas, play games, create art and music and make decisions about activities and excursions. Drinks and snacks are provided. Places are limited so registration is essential. Volunteers welcome.

Creswick Community Kids Playgroup

Mums and Dads of babies and pre-schoolers are invited to join this happy group and enjoy social time together. Bring along a snack. No need to register, just come along.

Mondays 9.30 - 11.30am during the school term $3 per Session Venue: CNC Hall

Intro to Circus Skills

Learn the basics from juggling and making your own juggling balls to juggling tricks. Try your hand at Diabolo (Chinese Yoyo) and Sock Poi which are used by experienced Poi Fire Twirlers. This course is suitable for people of all ages.
